Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and codes, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of three-dimensional fabrics made from aramid fibers and their blends. This standard applies to three-dimensional woven and knitted fabrics that use aramid fibers as the main raw material and are blended with other high-performance fibers such as carbon fibers, and are used as reinforcement materials for composite materials.
