Scope

This standard specifies the emission limits of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in surface coating operations related to the automotive manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province, including storage and transportation, mixing, stirring, cleaning, coating, drying, and post-processing units in the manufacturing process of complete vehicles and car bodies. It also stipulates the monitoring and control requirements, production processes, and management requirements for VOC emissions. This standard applies to the control of VOC emissions in existing automotive manufacturing industries, as well as the environmental impact assessments, environmental protection engineering design, and completion environmental protection acceptance of new, modified, and expanded projects, and the control of VOC emissions after their commissioning. This standard does not apply to the management of air pollutant emissions from automotive modification, repair, and parts coating processes.
