GB/T 22364-2008 Paper and board—Determination of resistance to bending

Scope

This standard specifies two methods for measuring the bending stiffness of paper and cardboard—the static bending method and the resonance method. The static bending method of this standard is generally applicable to paper and cardboard with a stiffness of 20 mN to 10,000 mN, and is only suitable for instruments with a bending angle of 7.5° or 15°. The resonance method of this standard is applicable to a variety of paper and cardboard, but is not suitable for multilayer paper and cardboard that may delaminate during testing, paper and cardboard with obvious curling, especially curling along the long edge of the sample, and paper with a basis weight of less than 40 g/m2. This standard is not applicable to corrugated cardboard.
