Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of dysprosium iron alloys.
This standard applies to dysprosium iron alloys produced by electrolysis and melt casting methods, which are used for the manufacture of rare earth functional materials such as neodymium iron boron permanent magnets and terbium-dysprosium magnetostrictive materials.
