Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and contract (or order form) requirements for zirconium and zirconium alloy ingots used in general industry and nuclear industry with a diameter not exceeding 820 mm.
This standard applies to zirconium and zirconium alloy ingots produced by vacuum self-consumption arc furnaces.
