GB/T 31843.450-2019 Maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment and systems—Digital interfaces—Part 450:Multiple talkers and multiple listeners—Ethernet interconnection

Scope

This part of GB/T 31843 specifies the requirements for high-speed communication interfaces and test methods between shipborne navigation and radio communication equipment, as well as between these systems and other ship systems that require the use of navigation and radio equipment for communication. On the basis of applying existing international standards, this part proposes a data transmission framework between shipborne Ethernet devices.
This part specifies Ethernet based on a bus-type network. The receiver can receive messages from the transmitter when the following conditions are met:
——This part includes provisions for multicast distribution of messages formatted according to the requirements of IEC 61162-1, such as position correction and other measurement methods; it also includes provisions for the transmission of general data packets (binary files), such as transmission between radar and voyage data recorders; and it includes provisions for multicast distribution of messages formatted according to the requirements of IEC 61162-3, such as position correction and other measurements.
——This part is limited to protocols for devices (network nodes) connected to a simplex Ethernet network, which consists of only one or two devices at the OSI layer and control lines (network infrastructure).
——The requirements proposed in this part are limited to device interfaces. The protocol provisions are designed to ensure interoperability between devices implementing this part when transmitting IEC 61162-1 specified sentences, IEC 61162-3 PGN information, and general binary image data, and to ensure a certain level of security for the devices themselves.
——If the interface of the network infrastructure meets the requirements of other network functions (ONF, see 4.6), this part allows devices to share the network infrastructure using protocols other than those specified in this part.
