Scope

This standard specifies the types and basic dimensions of internal hexagonal head bolts and screws, as well as the measurement methods. The curvature of the internal hexagonal head curve used for bolts and screws is determined by a gauge, which shall comply with the provisions of Tables 3 to 5. When drawing the contour curve, the reference materials are provided in Appendix A. For checking the internal hexagonal head, this standard provides a detailed drawing, but it should not be used as a manufacturing standard.
