Scope

This regulation stipulates the measurement requirements for the net content of soap products (hereinafter referred to as "soap products") and the requirements and procedures for sampling, inspection, and evaluation during the measurement and inspection process.
The soap products specified in this regulation refer to various types, compositions, and packaged bar soaps, such as toilet soap and laundry soap (excluding industrial soap).
This regulation applies to the measurement supervision and inspection, as well as arbitration inspections, of the net content of soap products. Producers and sellers of soap products may also conduct inspections in accordance with this regulation.
This regulation applies to soap products with a net content shortage due to changes in moisture and volatile substances, and with a production date within 180 days.
