GB/T 8358-2014 Steel wire ropes—Determination of measured breaking force
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test principles, sample preparation, test equipment, test procedures, and test reports for determining the actual breaking tensile strength of steel wire ropes.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the actual breaking tensile strength of various steel wire rope products. The alloy casting method is suitable for steel wire ropes with a diameter greater than or equal to 6 mm or steel wire ropes with a wire diameter greater than or equal to 0.5 mm; the resin casting method and the sleeve pressing method are suitable for all types of steel wire ropes; the direct clamping method is suitable for single-strand steel wire ropes and other types of steel wire ropes; and the winding method is suitable for steel wire ropes with a diameter not exceeding 20 mm.
