Scope
This part of YY/T 0805 specifies the characteristics of flat diamond cutting discs commonly used in dental treatment. It includes 29 types of dental diamond rotary instruments, and five types of cutting discs are selected for which their dimensions are clearly specified. Other types of cutting discs will be carefully selected according to this principle.
Note: YY/T 0873.1—2011 and YY/T 0873.2—2014 specify a 15-digit numerical code for all types of dental rotary instruments.
Note: The various size requirements and other requirements for diamond rotary instruments are of great significance for ensuring the interchangeability of the instruments.
