GB/T 15695-2008 Information technology—Open Systems Interconnection—Presentation service definition
Basic Information
Scope
1.1 This standard (in an abstract manner) defines the externally visible services provided by the OSI presentation layer according to the following items: a) Primitive actions and events at the user/service boundary; b) Parameter data related to each primitive action and event; c) The interrelationships between these actions and events and their effective sequence. 1.2 The services defined by this standard are provided by the OSI presentation protocol (in conjunction with the OSI session service) and are available for use by various OSI application protocols. 1.3 This standard is not a specification for various implementations or products, nor does it constrain the implementation of entities and interfaces within computer systems. Therefore, there is no issue of whether it is consistent with this standard.
