Scope

GB/T 18271 specifies the general methods and procedures for conducting functional and performance tests on process measurement and control devices, as well as preparing test reports. The test methods and procedures specified in GB/T 18271 are applicable to any type of test or any class of process measurement and control devices. These tests are suitable for any process measurement and control devices that have specific input and output variables and a specific relationship (transfer function) between the input and output variables, including analog devices and digital devices. For devices requiring special test items, it is recommended to conduct tests in accordance with GB/T 18271 and in combination with the product standards specifically prescribed for such special test items. This part of GB/T 18271 discusses the general principles applicable to all parts of GB/T 18271.
