Scope

GB/T 18271 specifies the general methods and procedures for conducting functional and performance characteristics tests on process measurement and control devices, as well as preparing test reports. These tests are applicable to any process measurement and control devices with specific input and output variables, and a specific relationship (transfer function) between the input and output variables, including analog devices and digital devices. For devices requiring special test items, it is advisable to conduct tests in accordance with GB/T 18271 and in conjunction with product standards that specifically stipulate such special test items. This part of GB/T 18271 discusses tests that affect the influence of test quantities.
