Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, general requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, lifting and relocation, and storage of fiberglass reinforced plastic chimney liners (hereinafter referred to as FRP chimney liners) for coal-fired power plants.
This standard is applicable to FRP chimney liners for coal-fired power plants with a concrete outer cylinder, an operating flue gas temperature not exceeding 93 °C, a short-term (not exceeding 30 minutes) flue gas temperature not exceeding 121 °C, and a diameter of 4.0 m to 10.0 m. Other FRP chimneys can be used as a reference.
