Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, inspection reports, packaging, marking, and delivery and acceptance rules for waterproofing plastic-modified asphalt.
This standard applies to modified asphalt made with atactic polypropylene (APP) or amorphous polyα-olefin (APAO, APO) as modifiers.
This standard does not apply to other modified asphalts.
