Scope

This document describes the electrochemical corrosion test method for marine metal materials.
This document is applicable to the electrochemical corrosion test of two different metals under laboratory conditions in artificial seawater, natural seawater, or a 3.5% sodium chloride solution, as well as in real marine environments when they are electrically connected. It can also be used as a reference for electrochemical corrosion tests of metal materials used in marine engineering and other industrial equipment.
