GB/T 14536.6-2008 Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use—Particular requirements for automatic electrical burner control systems
Basic Information
Scope
The chapter of GB 14536.1—2008 applies to all aspects except the following:
1.1 Replacement:
This part of GB 14536 applies to automatic control systems for burners that burn fuel oil, natural gas, coal, or other fuels for household and similar purposes (including heating, air conditioning, and other similar applications).
This part applies to complete burner control systems and standalone control devices. It also applies to standalone high-pressure electronic ignition sources and standalone flame detectors.
Note: Standalone ignition devices (such as electrodes and pre-ignition nozzles) are not within the scope of this part unless they are tested as part of a burner control system.
Requirements for standalone ignition transformers are specified in IEC 60989.
The term "system" used in this part includes "burner control system".
Systems using thermoelectric methods for flame monitoring are not included in this part.
1.1.1 This part applies to inherent safety, to the operating values, operating times, and operating procedures claimed by the manufacturer in relation to burner safety, and to the testing of burner automatic control systems used on or with burners.
Note: Requirements for specific operating values, operating times, and operating procedures are specified in the standards for appliances and equipment.
Equipment systems that are not intended for general household use but only for public places, such as those used by non-professional personnel in stores, light industrial factories, and farms, are also included in the scope of this part.
This part applies to systems using NTC (negative temperature coefficient) or PTC (positive temperature coefficient) thermistors. Additional requirements for them are included in Appendix J.
This part does not apply to systems specifically designed for industrial applications.
1.1.2 This part applies to manual controllers that are electrically and/or mec
