GB/T 14536.21-2008 Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use—Particular requirements for electrically operated oil valves, including mechanical requirements
Basic Information
Scope
1.1 This part applies to electric oil valves used in household and similar applications, or with such equipment, which may use energy sources such as electricity, gas, oil, solid fuels, solar energy, or a combination thereof. The application scope includes heating, air conditioning, and similar uses.
This part also applies to electric oil valves using NTC or PTC thermistors, the requirements of which are included in Appendix J.
1.1.1 This part applies to the inherent safety of electric oil valves, to the operating values and procedures related to equipment protection, and to the testing of electrical automatic controllers used in household and similar applications or with such equipment. It also applies to electric oil valves for industrial use without corresponding standards, such as those used in central heating, air conditioning, and heat treatment.
This part also applies to electric oil valves for various appliances covered by GB 4706.1.
This part includes requirements for the electrical performance and mechanical performance of oil valves, both of which affect the intended operation of the oil valves.
Note: In this part, the term "equipment" includes "appliances and control systems".
This part does not apply to electric oil valves specifically designed for industrial equipment.
Electric oil valves for non-general household equipment, which are used by non-professionals such as those in shops, light industry factories, or farms, are also included in the scope of this part.
This part notes that some mechanical features are "under consideration". Until the mechanical requirements are included in this part, each country using this part should specify these requirements.
Note: Meeting the requirements of this part does not mean that no further testing of these mechanical features is needed.
1.1.2 This part applies to those manual controllers that electrically or mechanically constitute e
