Scope

This document specifies the basic requirements, classification and designations, port flange selection, assembly welding and combination forms, structural types and main dimensions, minimum diameter of plastic lining on flange sealing surface, and marking for plastic-lined composite steel pipes and fittings used in chemical fluid transportation. This document is applicable to plastic-lined composite steel pipes and fittings (hereinafter referred to as "composite steel pipes and fittings") with nominal sizes ranging from DN 15 to DN 1200, and plastic linings made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), meltable polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA), ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE), perfluoroethylene propylene (FEP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene (PE) thermoplastic materials, used in chemical fluid transportation.
