GB/T 26500-2011 General technical specification for pipes and fittings lined with fluoroplastics
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the product classification and structure, materials, design, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of fluoroplastic-lined steel pipes and fittings. This standard applies to straight pipes and fittings composed of a metal shell and a fluoroplastic lining. Fluoroplastics include polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), perfluoroethylene propylene (FEP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE), and meltable polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA). This standard applies to pipes with a design pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa; the medium used is gas, liquefied gas, steam, or flammable, explosive, toxic, or corrosive liquids with a maximum operating temperature equal to or higher than the standard boiling point; and the nominal size ranges from DN 25 mm to DN 600 mm. This standard also applies to pressure-resistant pipes for the above-mentioned media, working conditions, and diameters.
