Scope
This standard specifies the specifications, order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of steel wire rods used for solid welding wires of weathering steel, as well as technical requirements, testing methods, testing rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard is applicable to the production of solid welding wires used in gas-shielded arc welding and submerged arc automatic welding of weathering steel (hereinafter referred to as gas-shielded welding wires and submerged arc welding wires, respectively).
