本文件规定了用于橡胶或塑料的压延、抛光、层压或压花的压延机设计和制造相关的安全要求。
本文件适用于橡胶塑料压延机、两辊或三辊挤出压延机，包括切割装置、导料装置、送料装置和辅助辊等集成部件。
本文件适用于在压延机的整个生命周期内（见GB/T 15706-2012中5.4），在预定使用过程中，以及由制造商可合理预见的误用的情况下，所可能引发产生的与压延机相关的所有重大危险、危险状态和危险事件（见附录A）。
本文件不包括下列危险：
——加工易爆性材料或能产生易爆气体的物料引起的危险；
——由激光或电离辐射引起的危险；
——压延机安装在易爆炸环境中引起的危险。
