The chapter of GB/T 17465.1-2009 is replaced by the following: This part specifies the technical requirements for the structure, electrical performance, and mechanical performance of sewing machine couplers for household and similar uses. This part applies to household sewing machine couplers that are only for AC power, with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V and a rated current not exceeding 2.5 A. Sewing machine couplers may include two or more contacts, depending on the control elements or the circuit required to operate the sewing machine, and may or may not include a grounding contact.
