GB/T 42444-2023 Biomimetics—Terminology, concepts and methodology
Basic Information
Scope
This document classifies and defines the field of bionics, describes many bionic academic terms, and provides a framework for bionic terminology in science, industry, and education. It also describes the process from developing new ideas to applying bionic methods to bionic products. The document also elaborates on the potential and limitations of bionics as an innovative method or sustainable development strategy. Additionally, it outlines the applications of bionics in various fields and describes the differences between bionic R&D methods and traditional R&D forms. If a technical system is developed in accordance with this document, it can be referred to as a "bionic" system. This document provides a reasonable framework for bionic applications, aiming to provide a common language for scientists and engineers working in the field of bionics, and to provide guidance and support for developers, designers, and users who want to understand the bionic development process and apply bionic methods to their work. Any target technical system that is sufficiently similar to biological systems created by nature and can be used for the development of its technical equivalents is applicable to this document.
