Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, and packaging of shipboard flange welding plates (hereinafter referred to as "plates") in accordance with GB/T 569 and GB/T 2501 for flange connections.
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of plates used in shipboard piping systems where the medium is air, distilled water, fresh water, seawater, lubricating oil, fuel oil, and steam with a temperature not exceeding 300 °C.
