Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, structural types and dimensions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of gear ring compression type thin-walled stainless steel pipe fittings.
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of gear ring compression type thin-walled stainless steel pipelines used for conveying liquid media with a nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa and a temperature not exceeding 110 °C, and conveying gaseous media with a nominal pressure not exceeding 1.6 MPa, and a nominal size not exceeding DN100, for conveying domestic water (cold water, hot water), drinking water, medical gases, heating, compressed air, inert gases, gas, fuel, etc.
