Scope

This standard specifies the certification requirements for energy management systems for coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises, sets out the basic requirements for systematic management of energy use and consumption in coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises, considers the factors affecting the energy performance of coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises, and clarifies the basic requirements for the energy management system of coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises.
This standard applies to the certification of energy management systems for coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises. It also applies to the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of their energy management systems. It can also be used as a basis for assessing the energy management systems of coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises by relevant parties.
