Scope
This standard specifies the certification requirements for energy management systems for coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises, sets out the basic requirements for systematic management of energy use and consumption in coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises, considers the factors affecting the energy performance of coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises, and clarifies the basic requirements for the energy management system of coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises.
This standard applies to the certification of energy management systems for coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises. It also applies to the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of their energy management systems. It can also be used as a basis for assessing the energy management systems of coal-fired power generation enterprises and power grid enterprises by relevant parties. Other types of power generation enterprises (such as fuel, gas, hydropower, nuclear power, and new energy power generation enterprises) can refer to and implement it as needed.
