Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and product marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of air filters (referred to as filters).
This standard applies to dry filters used in ventilation, air conditioning, and air purification systems or equipment under normal temperature and humidity conditions, including those subject to external electric fields.
