Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for filament yarns made from a blend of poly-3-hydroxybutyrate valerate (PHBV) and polylactic acid (PLA). This standard applies to filament yarns produced by the melt-spinning process using PHBV (with a hydroxyl value (HV) of ≤12%) and PLA as the main raw materials. The single fiber linear density ranges from 0.8 dtex to 8 dtex.
