Scope
This part of GB/T 38651 establishes the classification and basic requirements for the installation of sign carriers, and stipulates the general requirements for sign carriers before, during, and after installation, as well as the installation and acceptance requirements for ground-mounted, suspended, and attached types.
This part is applicable to the installation of various types of public information sign carriers (including panel-less, paneled, structural, and illuminated types) located indoors and outdoors.
This part is not applicable to road traffic signs and safety signs.
