Scope

This part of GB/T 38659 provides an overview of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) risk assessment for electronic and electrical equipment, including its purpose, mechanisms, and models; the impact degree levels of risk factors and risk classification; the division of product risk evaluation units; the EMC risk assessment process; EMC risk identification; EMC risk analysis; EMC risk evaluation; the determination of the EMC risk level of the whole machine and the application of the results; and the requirements for risk assessment reports.
This part is applicable to the electromagnetic compatibility risk assessment of electronic and electrical equipment.
This part provides guidance on the risk assessment of electromagnetic compatibility design for products, taking into account factors such as the mechanical architecture design of the product, the design of the circuit board, and the type of application site.
