Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of marinated and braised beef. This standard applies to pre-packaged ready-to-eat marinated and braised beef made from fresh or frozen beef that has passed inspection and quarantine, and is processed through such procedures as material selection, trimming, pre-cooking, ingredient mixing, and marinating (braising).
