Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements for rubber and plastic injection molding machines (hereinafter referred to as injection molding machines) and the interaction between injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, including terms and definitions, hazard lists, safety requirements and measures, and the confirmation and use of safety requirements and measures.
This standard does not include safety requirements for the auxiliary equipment of injection molding machines themselves and the design of the exhaust system of injection molding machines.
This standard applies to injection molding machines for processing rubber and plastics.
