Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and units, product classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of solar air collectors.
This standard applies to flat-plate solar air collectors (hereinafter referred to as flat-plate collectors) with a single inlet and a single outlet, which use solar radiation for heating and have transparent cover plates, and air as the heat transfer medium, as well as non-concentrating all-glass vacuum tube solar air collectors (hereinafter referred to as vacuum tube collectors) with air as the heat transfer medium.
