Scope

This standard specifies the test methods and calculation procedures for the thermal performance of solar air collectors.
This standard applies to flat-plate solar air collectors (hereinafter referred to as flat-plate collectors) with a single inlet and a single outlet, which use solar radiation for heating and have transparent cover plates and air as the heat transfer medium, as well as non-concentrating all-glass vacuum tube solar air collectors (hereinafter referred to as vacuum tube collectors) with air as the heat transfer medium.
