Scope
This standard addresses the main hazards of metal sawing machines and stipulates the basic safety requirements and/or measures for eliminating hazards and reducing risks.
This standard applies to general-purpose horizontal band sawing machines, vertical band sawing machines, circular sawing machines, and horizontal bow sawing machines (hereinafter referred to as sawing machines).
