Scope

This document stipulates the control requirements, inspection methods, and judgment criteria for non-tobacco substances in the cultivation, harvesting, processing, initial sorting and storage, grading and purchasing, transportation, warehousing, sorting, and re-drying of flue-cured tobacco.
This document applies to the control of non-tobacco substances in the cultivation, harvesting, processing, initial sorting and storage, grading and purchasing, transportation, warehousing, sorting, and re-drying of flue-cured tobacco. The control of non-tobacco substances in other types of tobacco, such as aromatic tobacco and white ribbon tobacco, shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
