Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for baby and adult diapers, diaper pads (care pads).
This standard applies to disposable diapers, diaper pads, and care pads made from outer cover materials, built-in absorption layers, and leak-proof bottom films.
This standard does not apply to products for adult light incontinence, such as care wipes.
