Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for the dimensional compatibility of industrial plugs with sockets, fixed or mobile sockets, and appliance input sockets. This document applies to plugs, fixed or mobile sockets, and appliance input sockets primarily intended for industrial use, for indoor or outdoor applications, with a rated working voltage not exceeding 1,000 V DC or 1,000 V AC, a frequency not exceeding 500 Hz, and a rated current not exceeding 125 A. These electrical accessories are intended to be installed and used only by trained personnel or skilled technicians. Note 1: All content in GB/T 11918 related to electrical accessories with a rated current exceeding 125 A does not apply to this document. This document applies to electrical accessories equipped with standard-structure plugs and sockets. This document applies to electrical accessories used in environments with typical ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to 40°C.
