Scope
This document specifies the essential items and evaluation items for the grid-connected safety assessment of small hydropower stations in three aspects: electrical primary equipment, electrical secondary equipment, and safety production management. This document is applicable to small hydropower stations with a total installed capacity of 6 MW to 50 MW and connected to the grid through voltage levels of 10 kV and above. For small hydropower stations with a total installed capacity of less than 6 MW or connected to the power system through other voltage levels, this document shall be implemented as a reference.
