This standard specifies the usage conditions, terms and definitions, model specifications and representation methods, technical requirements, inspection and testing methods, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for insulated copper-clad aluminum busbars (hereinafter referred to as "busbars"). This standard applies to busbars with a rated voltage of 220 kV or lower, a rated current of 40,000 A or lower, and a frequency of 50 Hz (or 60 Hz).
