Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of general-purpose biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films.
This standard applies to ordinary-type (glossy film) and heat-sealable films made from polypropylene resin by biaxial stretching using a flat film method for general use.
This standard does not apply to other special-function biaxially oriented polypropylene films, such as biaxially oriented polypropylene matte films, biaxially oriented polypropylene pearlescent films, biaxially oriented polypropylene films for drawing wires, biaxially oriented polypropylene films for capacitors, and biaxially oriented polypropylene films for cigarette packaging, etc.
