Scope

The following amendments shall apply to Chapter GB 2099.1.
Addition:
This part of GB 2099 applies to plugs with fuses, where the fuses are primarily intended to protect flexible wires or cables.
These fuses are not used to protect electrical appliances or their components from overloading.
There is a note on this matter in IEC 60884-2-1:2006.
