This document defines the extensions to Communication Profile Family 3 (CPF3) for Real-Time Ethernet (RTE). CPF3 specifies a set of communication profiles for RTE, as well as related network components based on the IEC 61158 series (Type 10), ISO/IEC/IEEE 802.3, and other standards.
