Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the bonding strength between impregnated wire ropes and vulcanized rubber using the T extraction method.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the bonding strength between impregnated soft wire ropes and impregnated hard wire ropes made from chemical fibers, as well as impregnated glass fiber ropes made from glass fibers and vulcanized rubber. It can also be used for the determination of the bonding strength between impregnated yarns and impregnated cord fabrics made from chemical fibers and vulcanized rubber.
