Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, statistical scope, and calculation methods for the energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") limits of unit products of ferroalloys. This standard applies to the calculation and assessment of the energy consumption of five types of unit products produced in ferroalloy blast furnaces, including silicon iron, high-carbon manganese iron produced in electric furnaces (limited to those produced using the non-fluxing or low-fluxing smelting process), manganese-silicon alloys, high-carbon chromium iron, and blast furnace manganese iron produced in ferroalloy blast furnaces. It also applies to the energy consumption control of new and expanded projects.
