Scope

This document specifies the energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") limit levels, technical requirements, statistical scope, and calculation methods for ferroalloys. This document applies to the calculation and assessment of the unit product energy consumption of nine types of ferroalloys, including silicon iron produced in ferroalloy blast furnaces, high-carbon manganese iron produced in electric furnaces (limited to those produced by the smelting process without flux), manganese-silicon alloys, low-carbon manganese-silicon alloys, high-carbon chromium iron, furnace-grade chromium iron, and micro-carbon manganese iron, medium (low)-carbon chromium iron, and ferroalloy high-blast furnace manganese iron produced in refining electric furnaces. It also applies to the energy consumption control of new and modified/expanded projects.
