Scope

This part specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of press-fit copper tube fittings (hereinafter referred to as press-fit fittings) in accordance with GB/T 18033 for copper tube connections.
This part is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of press-fit fittings used in copper pipe systems for the delivery of domestic water (cold water, hot water), drinking water, gas, medical gases, seawater, etc., with a nominal pressure not exceeding PN1.6 MPa and a nominal diameter not exceeding DN 100 mm.
