This section presents the factors affecting the thermal surface temperature of electrical equipment, the factors influencing the burn threshold, and the data on the burn threshold.
This section is applicable to the selection and determination of the burn threshold when assessing the burn risk of the thermal surface of electrical equipment.
The burn threshold of the surface of thermal functional equipment is not considered in this section.
