Scope

This document specifies the common nominal sizes and markings of the following bonded abrasives, in millimeters:
—— Type 6: Cup-shaped grinding wheels;
—— Type 11: Bowl-shaped grinding wheels;
—— Type 27: Cymbal-shaped grinding wheels;
—— Type 28: Conical cymbal-shaped grinding wheels;
—— Type 29: Convex cymbal-shaped grinding wheels.
The bonded abrasives specified in this document are suitable for deburring, rough grinding, and finishing any surface of a workpiece using a handheld angle grinder. In this application, the workpiece is fixed, and the grinder is operated by the operator.
